Positive Attitude

In the Second World War, the Nazis imprisoned  a Jew. His wife and children as well as his parents were all killed in the holocaust.

The Gestapo (The German internal security police as organized under the Nazi regime) made him strip. He stood there totally naked. But they noticed that he still had on his wedding band. As they removed even that from him, he said to himself, “You can take away my wife, my children, you can strip me of my clothes and my freedom, but there is one thing no person can ever take away from me – and that is my freedom to choose how I will react to what happens to me!”.

He started to look for smallest of things in which he could find Positivity & Motivation – an extra crumb of bread,  an extra nap, a small helping of warm soup, a pencil etc. This enabled him to keep himself alive where others died.

This man was Dr Viktor Frankl an eminent psychologist and author of famous book, “Man’s Search for Meaning”, is an example of Be Positive & Happy attitude.

We are free to choose our attitude in any given situation – to maintain a positive attitude no matter how negative the situation.

Few great statements about Positive Attitude :

“It takes but one positive thought when given a chance to survive and thrive to overpower an entire army of negative thoughts.” – Robert H. Schuller

“You’ve done it before and you can do it now. See the positive possibilities. Redirect the substantial energy of your frustration and turn it into positive, effective, unstoppable determination.” – Ralph Marston

The Good News is …”That most of the times the Bad News can be turned into Good News…..when you change!!!”
